Weatherstock® Still Image Collections For Sale
A Rare and Unique Opportunity
Mr. Warren Faidley, CEO of Weatherstock®
Inc. announced on October 12, 2007 that the entire still collection of Weatherstock® is currently offered for sale. Faidley says the sale of stock
agencies is nothing new, but what makes this sale especially interesting is that all the images are his and they come with the package. With most agency sales, a buyer or investor
is only getting a 'shell' with most images belonging to others, requiring a loss of profits due to commissions. With this collection, a new buyer gets the rights to the world's most impressive collection of weather and related pictures -- with a 100 percent profit margin. The collection can generate substantial income forever, especially if the client utilizes active marketing.
The fact that most of my stills were
shot on film is also a big bonus as many high-end clients want "film stills" not digital. This a very rare deal for a large
corporation or an investor. Email Warren for more for more information, including estimated appraisals.
The Weatherstock®
collection is considered as the finest library of high quality weather images in the world.
Includes all digital files and over 90 percent of original transparencies.
Over 90 percent of images are from film. An increasing number of clients are seeking images shot on "film" instead of digital files, for large reproductions and high end projects.
Sale includes all rights to images (as always, legal copyright remains with the artist).
Sale includes all rights protected images and royalty free collections. (Many additional images not seen are included).
No property or cash included. Sale does not include moving footage.
Many of the images include rare and historical subjects.
Extensive range of weather, storm and related subjects including natural disasters, fires and scientific selections.
Rights fees for individual image use has been over $19,000.00.
Estimated appraised value in seven figure range.
Options exist to buy out the complete collection as non-exclusive. Long term leasing options also exist.
Estimated value of yearly stock sales if aggressively marketed is greater than $300,000, possibly much higher since commissions will not need to be paid. Increasing value is projected over time as film-based images increase in value.
Since the majority of images are "un-dated" stock, the long term marketability and profits are infinite.
