Weatherstock is currently seeking a corporate or individual grant or donation to assist us with supplying free images to students and teachers.
Currently, Weatherstock allows students and teachers to download images at no charge, as a public service. Our server download records indicate several thousand images are downloaded each month
(in addition to business client downloads).
Because of the specific nature of our files, our images are very popular with students and
educators.
The costs associated with this service is currently paid for by company funds.
Unfortunately, Weatherstock's current budget for this service will soon expire. The costs of scanning
new images, administrative fees and bandwidth costs for downloads are exceeding our current budget limits for
charitable and educational projects.
Therefore, we are currently seeking private or corporate funds or grants to extend and expand
our educational projects. The estimated costs associated with providing this service are
around $8,000 per year.
